I have been wanting to hike to the Walls of Jericho in north east Alabama for a long time, and I finally did it! I recommend this hike, but it is kind of hard especially if you are not used to hiking in the hills.

Join me on this long-awaited adventure as I finally conquer the hike to the Walls of Jericho in Alabama! 🌿🏞️ After hearing about this hidden gem for years, I laced up my boots and hit the trail. This strenuous out-and-back hike takes you deep into a breathtaking box canyon in the Paint Rock River Valley, where towering limestone walls, cascading waterfalls, and lush forests create a truly magical experience. Managed by Alabama’s Forever Wild program and The Nature Conservancy, it’s a must-do for nature lovers seeking a challenging escape.
In this video, follow along as I:
• Start at the Alabama trailhead and tackle the steep 1,000+ foot descent
• Navigate the rugged terrain, cross streams, and spot wildlife (watch out for snakes!)
• Reach the stunning Walls of Jericho amphitheater and explore the canyon floor.
