How To Reset Default Network Settings And Enable Emergency Admin Password On UGREEN NAS DXP4800 plus
If you have lost access to your UGREEN NAS device such as the excellent UGREEN NAS DXP4800 Plus. It is pretty easy to get back in. You may be having one of these problems
Lost network settings
New Router installed
Firewall blocking nas access
Forgotten NAS password
Lost nas Admin password
forgotten nas user account username
And many other things can cause you to lose access to your UGREEN NAS device.

To get the Emergency Admin Account activated and to reset Network setting to the Factory defaults all you need to do is find a small screwdriver or simtool or pin and locate the reset button on the rear of the NAS.
Press and hold the reset button in for about 5-8 seconds until you hear a beep from the unit and then release the button.
Now the emergency Admin account will be activated and the network settings restored to the factory defaults.
The emergency Admin account username is Admin and the password is blank.

Enter this and then you will be asked to select the main Admin account on your NAS and to create a new or existing password.
You now will have full access to the NAS and can make any network or configuration changes that are necessary.
