And today's first reading from the 2nd chapter of the book of thessalonians Saint Paul reminds us that we're not supposed to preach to become popular, or to gain riches, or to gain power. However many church leaders give sermons to be popular, twist the Old Testament or the New Testament to gain wealth, or twist God's word to become powerful and controlling. Twisting God's word is really evil. That's what Satan did when he tried to tempt Jesus in the desert after 40 days. Please don't fall for these kind of preachers. It's better to have a personal relationship and learn to read the Bible yourselves then to go to a compromised church or synagogue. We are each great creations by God, who wants us to love him above all things, love our neighbors and love ourselves, and have that personal relationship with God our savior. It's quite simple, but it's not easy. We need to all stand up and do the right thing for the right reason. We cannot make anyone a true Christian, but we can plant the seeds by our example, by our love, and by our kindness I'll leave the rest up to God . OK
We are body, like Christ, Mind like God the Father and Soul like the Holy Spirit. We are an image of them, human children, whom they love more than we understand love. We are to live this life and work our way back home to them. We must take diligent care of our body’s minds and souls.
