God is NOT Blessing US

Senator Lindsey Graham (R-SC) recently delivered one of his trademark thunderclap declarations of loyalty to Israel:

“If America pulls the plug on Israel, God will pull the plug on us.”

Graham doubled down by painting the conflict in stark moral terms, insisting:
“Israel is not the bad guys. They’re the good guys. The bad guys are the radical Islamists who would kill everybody in this room if they could.”

For Graham, U.S. support for Israel is not just a matter of foreign policy—it’s a matter of divine insurance. Fail to back Israel, he warns, and God Himself will revoke America’s protection.

But not everyone in Washington is buying that narrative anymore.

Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) openly rebuked Graham’s theology and politics, arguing that endless financial and military support for Israel does not guarantee God’s blessing:

“Funding and blindly supporting an ally who is starving children is not going to bring God’s favor on America. As a matter of fact, I’ll argue it will instead bring God’s wrath.”

Greene has also pointed to the outsized influence of lobbying groups like AIPAC, suggesting that the unconditional nature of U.S. support for Israel has less to do with biblical mandates and more to do with political money and pressure.
