Ashlee Sierra Sims - Full Video Of Her Ran Over While Trying To Retrieve Her Phone

JACKSON, Miss. — A 26-year-old woman was struck and killed by a car while trying to retrieve her cellphone on the interstate, Jackson police said. Ashlee Sims was broadcasting live on Facebook while traveling on Interstate 55 near Briarwood Drive about 9 p.m. Tuesday, police said. She was seen on the video opening the window and apparently her phone flew out of the car. Sims got out of the car to find her phone, which kept recording. A few minutes later, Sims was hit by a car. She died at the scene, police said. The crash is under investigation, police said.
