Risk Analyst Warns About Financial Disaster Before Being Fired But No One Listens.

An unidentified investment bank starts firing a lot of people in 2008. Eric Dale, the chief of risk management, is one of the victims. When Dale tries to explain the significance of the model he is developing, nobody pays attention to what he has to say. As he leaves, he hands Peter Sullivan, a colleague in his office, a flash drive holding his work and warns him to "be careful." Intrigued, Peter stays late at the office to finish Eric's model.
Peter finds out that the firm's current risk profile is based on false assumptions; historical volatility levels in mortgage-backed securities are being surpassed, indicating that the business is over-leveraged in its position in those assets and will go bankrupt due to the debt endured from those assets. Peter has Seth Bregman re-join him and the head of credit trading, Will Emerson, at their desk. After studying Peter's results, Will calls in his supervisor, Sam Rogers.

The video is recap of "Margin Call" directed and written by J.C. Chandor. This is a drama and thriller genre movie . Top casts of Zachary Quinto, Stanley Tucci, Kevin Spacey and Paul Bettany produced in 2013.
