James Gunn promised us Superman would “lead directly into” Peacemaker Season 2… and after watching Episode 1 this weekend, I can confirm: it’s a trainwreck.

From a retconned Justice League cameo (bye Cavill, Gadot, Momoa, and Miller 👋) to a cocaine-fueled orgy that makes The Boys look tame, Episode 1 is already the most infamous DCU chapter yet. Add in sloppy multiverse writing, continuity-breaking plot holes, and Gunn’s family nepotism on full display — and what we’ve got is less “Gods and Monsters” and more “edgelord playground.”
