My name is Paula and I am a great friend of Kays

The below is just some snippets from my life - what comes out tonight may be completely different to what is written below!

I learned to sky dive, having 30-50 free falls under my belt.

In 1969, before my 16th birthday, I hitched a ride and went to Woodstock. That's a whole story and I am pissed that I missed the very last gig, (Jimmy Hendrix) because I had left to be at the car so I could secure my ride back to Atlanta Georgia. I hadn't seen the others from the time we left the car, although I spent the night in it each night.
The music was legendary and to this day I believe delivered by the best musicians ever. My parents thought I was spending the time at a girlfriend's. They would not have let me go if they knew the truth.

I had followed a passion and learned remedial massage knowing I could take my business anywhere in the world. I still practice today with over 35 years in the business. I have certification in oncology massage, my diploma in Bowen therapy.

I have been very community focused, started the reading program at our library in Bright, which was picked up and to this day is still on in Mt Beauty, Wangaratta, Myrtleford, Bright and Benalla. Sadly, it was Covid and the draconian mandates that ended my career of volunteering just under 30 years.
I also volunteered and was a member of , Community Health Advisory Board. I helped write policy for multiculturalism within the hospital community, and was very proud to represent community members who had any issues re hospital and health. I was a thorn in the side of the board and the CEO and once again, it was Covid that brought my affiliation to an end. They also changed the rules not allowing volunteer members to volunteer after 10 years.

I have been an active participant of the Forest of the Fallen in our community and had put my hand up to be sec/treasurer for our UOCLA group during the height of lockdowns and mandates.

Kath says you should ask me how Rod and I met, she loved this story!
