DayZ with the boys, first!

In The Finals (Embark Studios’ team-based arena shooter), Ranked Mode is a competitive playlist that works a bit differently than casual play, with extra structure, progression, and rewards. Here’s a breakdown:

🎮 Core Format

Team Size: 3v3v3v3 (four squads of three, just like casual).

Objective: Same Cashout mode as casual—teams fight over vaults of cash and try to deposit them at cashout stations.

Rounds: Matches are typically best-of-5 rounds, with shorter timers than casual, which keeps the pace tight and competitive.

📈 Ranks & Progression

Players climb through leagues (Bronze → Silver → Gold → Platinum → Diamond → Champion → Legendary).

Your performance determines rank gain/loss:

Winning and placing higher in a match = more rank points.

Losing early = rank loss.

Individual contributions (kills, revives, cashout interactions) also influence progression.

Some seasons also introduce soft resets, so you don’t start completely over each time.

⚖️ Rules & Differences from Casual

No crossplay parties in ranked: You can only queue with players on your same platform (to keep competitive fairness).

Stricter matchmaking: You’ll usually face teams near your current skill tier.

Limited maps in rotation: To ensure balance and prevent odd exploits.

Rewards: Playing ranked earns seasonal rewards (cosmetics, badges, banners, titles) that show off your highest achieved rank.

🏆 Why Play Ranked?

Provides structured competition instead of casual chaos.

Lets you measure progress and skill against others.

Rewards let you show off your rank both in and out of matches.
