Heavy Band Assisted Pull-ups

A heavy band is a great option to assist you in getting a pull-up. This is a way to do it. There is another variation which requires a little more to get into. The band is stretched across the "hooks" of my squat rack. I make sure that it is secure. I need a bench or a step stool so I can reach the band. Then I choose the grip I want to practice for the day and go for it. I make sure I look up, lift my chest and engage my glutes and abs to help me get up.
