Official data shows a sharp decline in Indian arrivals to Turkey and Azerbaijan, two nations that openly backed Pakistan during the conflict. In June 2025, only 9,934 Indians visited Azerbaijan compared to 28,315 last year — a massive 66% drop. Turkey too saw arrivals fall by nearly half, with just 16,244 Indians travelling there in July against 28,875 in July 2024. Travel portals have scaled down promotions, while social media campaigns like "Boycott Turkey" gained momentum. Meanwhile, the Maldives, once boycotted, now seeks a reset.
