Morane 29 helicopter,involved in fighting forest fires,crashed in France on August 24,2025

The incident occurred when the helicopter descended too low over a pond to collect water, touched the surface, and fell into the body of water. The pilot and the fire officer on board were able to get out on their own and were unharmed.

As local media report, this was the crew's 28th water collection of the day; accumulated fatigue may have led to the piloting error. 😢
