Technique of the Week- Mobility Monday: Seated Ankle Rotations
Many people workout and do strength and cardio training. However, I’ve noticed that many people either forgo mobility and flexibility or do very little of it. These components are essential, especially as we age. In the following weeks, we’ll be posting a mobility or flexibility movement every Monday. Enjoy!
Take a seat on the floor, dorsiflex your feet so that the heels are off of the ground, contract the calf muscles and rotate. 10 in each direction. This is a strengthening exercise as well as a mobility movement.
