Hook: Mustad 3399, #6-#16
Thread: Danville 6/0, Black
Tail: Goose Shoulder, Green
Tail-Tag: Danvillle 4-Strand Rayon Floss, Orange
Rib: Danville Silver & Gold Mylar Tinsel, #16/18, Gold
Body: Wool, Dark Brown almost Black
Throat: Shlappen, Orange
Wing: Dark mottled Turkey

The Hudson is another wet fly from Ray Bergman's book Trout (page 433, plate #4). Not only is the Hudson a handsome fly but is had a unique element; a Tail-Tag. A tag is always under the tail where as the tip is on top of the tail at the end of the body. Which to me would designate this as a "tail-tip" but it is referred to as a tail-tag??? More research must be done. --Enjoy
