Protecting Our Babies and children: Advocacy, Informed Choice, and Standing Up to Profit-Driven Medicine

Profit Over Protection
The American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP), in close alignment with pharmaceutical interests, continues to push aggressive vaccination schedules beginning at birth. Many of these products lack independent, long-term safety studies, particularly in vulnerable populations like newborns and young children. At the same time, the AAP is lobbying to eliminate non-medical exemptions, signaling a shift toward forced compliance rather than informed consent. This is not about protecting children. It's about protecting profit.
2. Parents Are Pushing Back
As public trust in these institutions erodes, more parents are turning to doulas, midwives, and holistic health providers—professionals who prioritize informed choice, individualized care, and unbiased education. Families are increasingly seeking alternatives to standardized, pharmaceutical-driven birth and pediatric protocols.
Doulas Are Frontline Advocates. They are not just support people during labor. They are powerful advocates who help families navigate the medical system, resist coercion, and protect their birthing choices. Many are speaking out about routine interventions administered immediately after birth such as injections and procedures that may serve industry interests more than a baby’s actual needs.
The rise in home births and birth-centered advocacy reflects a growing movement of parents choosing courage over compliance. This movement champions education over fear, advocacy over submission, and health freedom over corporate control. It takes strength to question the narrative and to speak out. More and more families are doing exactly that.
The AAP continues to recommend an ever-expanding list of shots - many without adequate safety data from long-term, independent studies. No vaccine has ever been proven completely safe, and yet concerns raised by respected voices such as Dr. Paul Thomas, Robert F. Kennedy Jr., the National Vaccine Information Center (NVIC), and more through the book Vax–Unvax are routinely ignored or censored.
This isn’t science - it’s marketing.
The AAP’s ongoing efforts to eliminate all non-medical exemptions represent a clear threat to parental rights and bodily autonomy. These recommendations are not grounded in transparent science or public health ethics. They are coercive policies that undermine informed consent and put children at unnecessary risk.
