WELKER: “A couple more in just a few minutes left. I want to talk to you about the Epstein files and the Justice Department this week releasing more than 300 pages of interview transcripts with ghislaine maxwell. She’s serving a 20-year sentence for her role in Jeffrey Epstein’s sex trafficking. She said she never witnessed President Trump act inappropriately and Epstein did not have a client list that she was aware of. Did the release satisfy any of the outstanding questions that you have about this matter?”

Schiff: “Oh, I don’t think it will satisfy anyone. They go and they do this interview without the presence and the prosecutor knows the facts because they fired her, James Comey’s daughter. So they go in there and the number two person at the Justice Department not knowing any of the facts and not knowing a lawyer present to represent the victims of the child sex trafficking and the sex — the convicted sex trafficker which is ghislaine maxwell goes into this interview undoubtedly to meet her attorney and unlike you’re the president you’ll spend the rest of your life in prison. She wants a pardon and it’s what her lawyers tell her will be necessary to get a pardon. No one is surprised here and she’s moved to a lesser secure prison and it all stinks to high heaven. The president is going after their enemies to distract. The one thing they promised the Justice Department and that is release the Epstein files.”
