Sukhoi Su-17UM3 of the Ukrainian Air Force

In this video the only flying example of Sukhoi Su-17UM3 of the Ukrainian Air Force. Before the war this fighter-bomber was used as a flying laboratory for the equipment of the Su-25 .

Some Ukrainian sources have reportedly shown this video as proof of Poland sending Su-22s , but at present, despite the need for modernization never hidden by Warsaw, the Fitter remains an irreplaceable aircraft for the Polish Air Force and even the decommissioned models are now cannibalized to keep the small fleet of 18 single- and two-seater Su-22s operational. This does not mean that in the future there may not be the possibility that at the time of decommissioning the Sukhoi fighter-bombers could be transferred to Kiev, but at present the leaders of the Polish Air Force have been clear: - "The MiG-29s will be retired first and then the Su-22s , which will remain at least until mid-2025." For the record, next year the Polish Fitters will celebrate 40 years of activity with the Warsaw Air Force.
