Welcome. Collected more peppers to go with the 3 days of zucchini for canning today – 9 x 500ml Spicy Pickled Dill Zucchini. Those small slim red peppers are so strong that the water bath added a mildly stinging spiciness to the air.

The Squash Box lattice frame has been propped up after starting to collapse under the weight of the squashes, having pulled a few plant out in the process, one of which had started one of the few peppercorn squashes being grown.

The 2 dozen beans collected went into a lamb stew made Osso Buco style, tossed in with the carrots, also from the garden, after the onions, also from the garden:

The Front Box continues to live and grow, but the drop in temperature has affected the Pumpkin’s older leaves.

Meanwhile Butch may have been surpassed in height by the two now blooming Sunflowers, but he still has more flower heads to bloom as well.
