CHUCK GIRARD & LOVE SONG - APRIL 1971

This video is from a student film project. It begins with Pastor Chuck Smith of Calvary Chapel in Costa Mesa, California, leading the young people in the song "Happy, Happy", then goes straight into the late Chuck Girard and Love Song singing "Little Country Church", which became very popular after Love Song released their first album, the self titled "Love Song" the following year in 1972.

Seeing all of the guys in Love Song way back then when they were so young and just starting out makes me smile. I remember those days, as I am sure many of you do as well.

Please continue to pray for Chuck Girard's widow, Karen, and the rest of his family and close loved ones as they mourn the loss of that wonderful man of God and Jesus Music pioneer.
