Dead to Sin, Alive to God (Live Service 2025 August 4)

Does Grace give a Christian liberty to sin freely after salvation without consequence? If you were to listen to many liberal "Christian" teachers today, the answer would be yes. But it's those same liberal "Christians" that adorn their church buildings with LGBTQ flags, ordain openly homosexual and so-called non-binary ministers, and who openly reject the exclusivity of Christ for a false Universalist religion. This question cuts to the heart of the matter of sin in a believer's life, addressing even the paradigm shift that genuine salvation brings. Concerning issues of the Last Days, we see that a Great Apostasy occurs, a precursor to the revealing of the Antichrist before the Lord Jesus Christ can return to rapture the Church (2 Thess. 2:3). Could the matter of permissive free will sin post-salvation be one of multiple seeds of the Great Apostasy that we are beginning to see sprout across the Church today? Could this paradigm be the root cause that has led many well-known ministers, pastors, and Christian artists to fall into habitual sexual sin, embezzlement, drug abuse, and more in the past few years?

Join us this week as Dr. Chris Anderson brings the message from Paul's letter to the Roman Church that answers these questions and more. Don't forget communion elements and prayer requests, as we will be praying over your requests and celebrating the Lord's Supper together. Invite a friend or your small group to be part of this service.
