Jumper (2008)

Jumper (2008) is a sci-fi action film directed by Doug Liman, based on Steven Gould’s novel. The story follows David Rice (Hayden Christensen), a young man who discovers he has the ability to teleport—or “jump”—anywhere in the world. While enjoying a life of luxury and freedom, David learns he is being hunted by a secret organization known as the Paladins, led by Roland Cox (Samuel L. Jackson), who believe jumpers must be killed because their powers are unnatural. Caught in a deadly chase, David teams up with fellow jumper Griffin (Jamie Bell) to fight back, while also protecting his childhood love Millie (Rachel Bilson) from getting dragged into the conflict. The film combines fast-paced action, globe-spanning locations, and high-stakes cat-and-mouse battles.
