A peace treaty between Rwanda and DRC foreign ministers was agree too, but it’s incomplete. Juan O Savin aims to unite efforts for the Pygmy Christians. President Trump is considering using possible U.S. military presence to stop the killing and mineral extraction contracts to preserve their land and the lives of the Native Peoples. On June 27, 2025, Rwanda and DRC foreign ministers signed a U.S.-mediated peace agreement in Washington to end three decades of conflict in Africa’s Great Lakes region. Ongoing war has killed thousands of tribal people, escalating tensions.
