A Matter of Perspective – Psalms 10-12

I am often asked questions about why God does what he does; or why he allows certain things to happen. Such questions are often couched in the misconception that there is something wrong with God's ways. Maybe he is unjust. Maybe he's just a cosmic killjoy. But you know what? It's really just a matter of perspective.

Our perspective is sensual, which is to say that it is influenced by our human senses. Our perceptions are also formed by imperfect thoughts born in imperfect minds. Our human perspective doesn't even come close to God's perfect perspective. That's why he has given us the Bible. In it, we can discover and learn his perspective. We can also adopt it. When we do, we have even more motivation to praise and worship the God of Creation.
