NBC26 Storm Shield weather forecast
The January Thaw kicked off on Thursday with highs in the 30s!! Tonight will actually be kind of mild and dry with lows in the mid/upper-20s. Friday, we're going to be doing even more melting with highs popping up into upper-30s to lower-40s. The normal high is 25°. Friday night will also be mild and quiet with lows in the low-20s. Saturday will be the warmest day of the weekend with highs in the low-40s with plenty of sunshine. Sunday during the day looks okay, but the wind will be picking up and the clouds will be on the increase. Highs will be in the lower to mid 30s, Sunday night, a low pressure will be tracking in bringing a rain snow mix later at night. The farther you live to the north, the better you chance of seeing some snow accumulation by morning, but even some of this will change over to rain as we head into Monday with highs around 40. No big shots of arctic air are in the forecast for the next 7-days.
