Collings CJ45 AT Demo

A guitar I always wanted since I played one in a shop but the price EEEK.

This is the reason I want to 'thin the herd'; a guitar I got for an attractive price from Reverb recently which has prompted me to try and sell some stuff. I have a PRS Silver Sky for sale on ebay and Reverb at the moment with more to come once I have decided which ones I can bear to lose and I have added this to my guitars.

It has the upgraded Adirondack top and is Collings take on a J45 slope shouldered guitar from the 1930's and 40's. A beautiful thing!

I'm very grateful to be sold this. I put D'Addario XT Phosphor Bronze 13-56 on but will experiment with John Pearse 13-55 and 12-53 to see what sounds best. It actually sounded great with the crusty strings it came to me with which were actually 12's on the gauge.

Here is my demo of this guitar. No EQ, no compression on the demo tracks just a tiny wee bit of Raum reverb as plug in. Recorded with a Rode NT1-A.
