BHRT Pellets, Rewiring my Brain & Chronic Fatigue Syndrome

My week has been a decent one until a couple of days ago, when I had to take a break from exercising to rest. I have a habit of overextending myself and overdid it again. I'm having a fairly bad flare of CFS symptoms.

As I've worked on improving my balance through yoga, I've noticed a sharp increase in cognition. Regaining my balance feels like every area of my life has improved.

Have you ever read something online and thought, "Who are these people and how do they know this about me?" I have. I spend a lot of time on Reddit because you never know what interesting tidbits of information you may find. Everyone’s experience makes them an expert in something. Browsing Reddit was how I learned to take care of my Lyme disease and related conditions. It has been a literal lifesaver.

This past week, someone shared notes from a Lyme health conference, and I can't help but feel extremely excited about the direction our medical system is going. I've heard it called "Root Cause" and "Foundational" medicine before, and it approaches medicine in a logical, methodical way that obeys the rules of human physiology. They talk about the impact of toxicity on health and dive deep into everything I’m currently dealing with. Here's the site: https://www.betterhealthguy.com/component/content/article?id=163%3Akli

Care like this needs to be available to the pubic at large, but with our current system, it lies behind a very tall paywall. As we all know, the insurance companies, in part, are calling the shots as to what treatments are and aren't available and how long you are able to continue treatment. These decisions are made without consideration of the individual patient's needs. From my own experience, I can say that this is insufficient, and my spine is the proof. In 2006, I hydroplaned into a guardrail going 60 mph and was left with substantial damage to my spine. I did all the therapy my insurance would cover, but am still, almost 20 years later, left with a painful, damaged spine that needs more care. I am currently putting together a care plan for healing my spine and will be sharing it here.

The system will never change until we, as a nation, demand what is a basic human right that is not covered in our Constitution to be honored. Everyone deserves to heal regardless of socioeconomic status.

BHRT Pellets: I had my pellets replaced this past Monday. I've been in BHRT since 2018 and can confidently say that it saved my life. The procedure is simple, relatively painless, and quick; it is completed within 15-20 minutes.

The pellets are implanted through a small incision on the rear hip after being numbed with lidocaine. Here’s a photo of my testosterone and estrogen pellets before implant, with a dime for scale. Over time, the pellets slowly dissolve, feeding your body the hormones as it needs them. I’m currently able to go about four months between replacements.

Let’s rewire my brain: I can't even begin to tell you how much my experience within the American medical system has shaped me. Being misdiagnosed and passed around the system has left me with an incredible amount of trauma and CPTSD. Despite this time being behind me, I still struggle with living in fear and, therefore, being a functional part of society. I’m currently rewatching Rewired by Joe Dispenza on Gaia and am attending a summit from the Heartmind Institute called Rewiring Your Brain Mega Summit, which you can see here: https://www.rewiringyourbrainworldsummit.com

This past week, I had an amazing accomplishment in the brain rewiring department. I successfully went on a car ride on the interstate without having a panic attack. With the type of brain damage I had, my brain had a hard time calculating the expansion of space when I ramped up to the interstate, and I would panic. I can’t tell you how many panic attacks I’ve had on the interstate over the years. My car accident also occurred on the interstate.
