It's not enough to have a claim on some Bitcoin on an exchange, or shares in a Bitcoin ETF or treasury company. Bitcoin is a peer to peer network. It's not enough to hold Bitcoin is self custody. To be a Peer in the United States of Bitcoin you also need to participate in the network and run a node.
