Science Time w/ Terry | Discussion Notes: In the Wheat of the Conversation | Biological Complexity

In today's video I review and address points and claims made during my discussion with Jackson Wheat on his show In the Wheat of the Conversation. As well as the main topic that I planned on discussing on the show, but we didn't get to.

The main topic: Biological Complexity, Abiogenesis, and Information
Many people, including Mr. Wheat, that do not know/recognize the fact that DNA contains information and that this information can be quantified in many different ways.
This information and many of the mechanisms that are coded for with this information, are what many Biologists refer to as Irreducibly Complex.
Mathematically, irreducibly complex systems cannot arise by blind chance, even in the most favorable conditions.
