1 Thessalonians - Chapter 3 Summary:

In 1 Thessalonians chapter 3, Paul explains that, out of deep concern for the Thessalonian believers’ faith during their trials, he sent Timothy to strengthen and encourage them so they would not be shaken by persecution. Timothy returned with a good report of their steadfast faith and love, which brought Paul great comfort and joy in the midst of his own struggles. Paul expresses how much he longs to see them again and continue building up their faith. He then prays earnestly that God would direct his way back to them, increase their love for one another, and establish their hearts blameless in holiness before God at the coming of the Lord Jesus with all His saints.
