Vs1
In the silence of my memories I still remember you.
Faces from long ago in yesterday's, who I loved deeply.
When I left in search of truth, I really had no clue what truth requires of you.

Chorus
Now I long for the summer breeze when I was young and naive.

Vs2
In the joy of all these memories, I still honor you. Bits and pieces now a part of me; your laughter too. Now I carry you within, and every now and then I see a part of you.

Chorus
And it makes me long for the summer breeze, when I was young and naive.

Bridge 1
But there is coming a day, when the dead will all rise. And all those we loved, once again by our side.

Bridge 2
Then all the madness we've known, all the wounded grieving souls, will be made light. Everlasting life we will know when death is defeated, overthrown by life.

Vs3
Though life seemed long and much more simple then, when we were young and naive. Life flies by like a wild flower under Autumns leaves. But it will no longer be lonely memories when from death we're free.

Now I long for a summer breeze; now I long for that day. How I long for the summer breeze when Jesus sets us free... And you embrace me.
