Prov 30:5-6 “Every word of God is pure: he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him. Add not unto his words, least he reproves you, and you be found a liar.”

2 Samuel 22:31 “As for God, his way is perfect; the word of the LORD is tried; he is a buckler to all that trust in him.

Shield and Buckler: metaphorically: God’s protection and faithfulness that surrounds us.

Psalms 119:127 “Therefore I love thy commandments above gold; yea, above fine gold.
