TODAY - Gen 45:16-22

Pharaoh Invites Jacob to Egypt 16 The news soon reached Pharaoh’s palace: “Joseph’s brothers have arrived!” Pharaoh and his officials were all delighted to hear this.
17 Pharaoh said to Joseph, “Tell your brothers, ‘This is what you must do: Load your pack animals, and hurry back to the land of Canaan.
18 Then get your father and all of your families, and return here to me. I will give you the very best land in Egypt, and you will eat from the best that the land produces.’ ”
19 Then Pharaoh said to Joseph, “Tell your brothers, ‘Take wagons from the land of Egypt to carry your little children and your wives, and bring your father here.
20 Don’t worry about your personal belongings, for the best of all the land of Egypt is yours.’ ”
21 So the sons of Jacob did as they were told. Joseph provided them with wagons, as Pharaoh had commanded, and he gave them supplies for the journey.
22 And he gave each of them new clothes—but to Benjamin he gave five changes of clothes and 300 pieces of silver.

It is another mark of the very high esteem with which Joseph was held by Pharaoh that the report of his reunion with his brothers was greeted with pleasure by Pharaoh and his officials. Pharaoh went beyond any expected act of hospitality to Joseph. Pharaoh gave them wagons, clothes, food all the supplies needed for the return trip, personal belongings and the best of the land. When God is involved in our lives, one sign to know is that God does not only give one thing, He does exceedingly, abundantly and above what is required. Eph 3:20. Do all you can by the help of the Holy Spirit to involve God in your affairs. Wait on Him. Satan's goal is to get you off track and away from trusting God. Resist him. James 4:7

20 Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us,

Humility Cures Worldliness 7 Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you.

Personal Supplication
Father, help me trust You more, hold on to Your Word and wait for You because I know that You are never late.

5–6 God, the one and only— I’ll wait as long as he says. Everything I hope for comes from him, so why not?

For God shall give his angels charge over thee, To keep thee in all my ways. They shall bear me up in their hands, Lest I dash thy foot against a stone. I shall tread upon the lion and adder: The young lion and the dragon shalt I trample under feet. Because I have set my love upon God, therefore will He deliver me: He will set him on high, because I have known His name. I shall call upon Him, and He will answer me: He will be with me in trouble; He will deliver me, and honour me. With long life will God satisfy me, And shew me His salvation. So shall it be for me and my household throughout this week in Jesus' name!
