FIVE-POINT BUILDER
1) Psalm 23:1 (KJV): "The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want." — God’s care meets our every need.
2) Romans 8:28 (KJV): "All things work together for good to them that love God..." — His sovereignty orders all for our good.
3) Matthew 10:29-31 (KJV): "Are not two sparrows sold for a farthing?... Fear ye not therefore..." — God values even the smallest part of creation.
4) Isaiah 41:10 (KJV): "Fear thou not; for I am with thee..." — God’s presence sustains us in our weakness.
5) Philippians 4:6-7 (KJV): "Be careful for nothing; but in every thing... let your requests be made known... And the peace of God...shall keep your hearts and minds." — Trust replaces anxiety with peace.

WORD STUDY
"Shepherd" - רֹעֶה (Roeh, Hebrew) — one who leads, guides, protects, and provides nourishment. This denotes God’s tender care as He watches over us as a shepherd does his sheep.

INSIGHT
Trusting God’s sovereign care means resting in the truth that He is actively involved in every detail of our lives. This sovereignty does not negate our suffering but assures us that none of it is wasted or outside His control. Christ, whose hands were pierced and who bore our sorrows, is the Good Shepherd who risks all for His flock. Our confidence in Him anchors our souls amid trials, affirming the Apostles’ Creed’s confession of God as Creator and Sustainer.

PRACTICAL APPLICATION
- Meditate daily on Psalm 23, affirming God’s guidance.
- When anxiety arises, turn to Philippians 4:6-7 in prayer.
- Remember God’s faithfulness in past difficulties.
- Write down specific ways God has cared for you recently.
- Share with a fellow believer how God’s sovereignty strengthens your faith.

CLOSING PRAYER
Lord God, You are my shepherd and my refuge. Help me to trust Your sovereign hand even when the path is dark and uncertain. Strengthen my faith by Your Spirit and fill me with Your peace that surpasses understanding. May I live in the confidence of Your care every day. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
