Filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma backs the SC’s first order on stray dogs 🐶🐕🐕‍🦺🦮 ... and it’s very unlike most Bollywood celebs! 🎬✨

Ram Gopal Varma (RGV) tweeted multiple times on this matter and clearly said — these stray dogs are killing children. 👶

Even the Supreme Court, while issuing its first order to remove stray dogs from the streets, said: “Children and the elderly are at the highest risk.” ⚖️

This order was passed in early August 2025... taking suo moto action on a Times of India report 📰.

In fact, on 26.07.25, a 6-year-old girl, Chavi Sharma, tragically died in Delhi after being bitten by a rabid dog. She showed rabies symptoms and passed away during treatment. 💔🐕 This case shook the Supreme Court and triggered the order — though thousands of such visuals have already surfaced before. 📺

Recently, reacting to the protests against this order, RGV said — “Rich women leave their kids with nannies but take the dogs out for walks.”

And he added — “If you love these dogs so much, keep them inside your homes.” 🏠❤️

After heavy protests, the Supreme Court modified its order... 🚨⚖️

Latest update from SC (22.08.25):

1. After immunisation and sterilisation, stray dogs can be released back to the same locations they were taken from.

2. Only rabid or highly aggressive dogs will not be released; all others must be.

3. Feeding dogs in public places is prohibited. Feeding must only be done in designated areas.

This modification was made after concerns from animal welfare advocates and the public, to align with the Animal Birth Control (ABC) Rules.
