Madeira Island, Portugal, view from the cockpit.

Let me remind you that Madeira Airport is rightfully considered one of the most difficult in Europe. Its unique location between the mountains on one side and the Atlantic Ocean on the other creates serious limitations for maneuvers during landing. Constant winds from the Atlantic, as well as their sharp gusts caused by the proximity of the mountains, make landing here technically difficult and require a high level of professionalism.
