THEOLOGY VS RELATIONSHIP / COFFEE WITH PB

DEAR PASTOR BOB: I know this is going to sound crazy, but I am very concerned about my spiritual life. I have studied the Bible for many years, and read a lot of books about theological topics to get a better understanding of the faith and our belief system. But I find myself lacking. You talk about actually "hearing" God speak. To find the truth you need to study the foundation of truth. And I believe in God, and Jesus death on the cross. Am I missing something here?
