The Australian Pesticides and Veterinary Medicines Authority (APVMA) is the Australian Government regulatory body for agricultural and veterinary chemical products. So why are they coming after certified organic food companies?

Phivo Christodoulou, founder of Augustine Approved - the first company in the world to produce 100% certified organic pet products to human food standards tells us his story of his 11 year battle with the APVMA over the marketing of his products. Most recently, Augustine Approved received almost $25,000 in fines, $9,390 of that for selling one jar of certified organic coconut oil.

Is this a case of the APVMA doing their job and protecting our pets or a government agency exceeding their authority and trying to squash small businesses in favour of pharmaceutical interests?
