Stormy Ascent – Crash Bandicoot 1 (PS1) Hidden Level

Stormy Ascent is a legendary, unreleased level from the original Crash Bandicoot (PS1), considered one of the hardest platforming challenges ever created for the series. Designed with a convoluted, vertical layout and relentless hazards like moving platforms, fast enemies, and tricky jumps, the level was ultimately removed from the final game for being too difficult. Though it remained hidden on the PS1 disc and could only be accessed using a GameShark cheat, fans eventually discovered it and marveled at its brutal difficulty and unfinished features. Celebrated for its demanding gameplay, Stormy Ascent was officially remastered and released in 2017 for the N. Sane Trilogy, complete with a newly created bonus round and updated layouts.
