Begonias are delicate so they easily shear, shatter, break off, snap, get pulled and every other delicate thing can happen to them but if you leave them alone, they are perfect. It is imperative that weeds be removed when their roots are not so big they will pull out or cause catastrophic damage to the Begonia when the weed is jettisoned.
