What makes a true leader? Is it Effectiveness, or is it Honor or Vision? In this video, I reflect on the difference between Statesmen who knew their own mind—figures like Charles de Gaulle and Winston Churchill—and those who acted as Subordinates or Caretakers of Someone Else’s order.
The contrast is not about strength versus weakness, but about Sovereignty versus Vassalage, Honor versus Utility.
Do today’s leaders embody self-respect, or are they merely managers of a system that owns them?
This is the tension that defines political leadership—and shapes history.

IN this channel, I read and interpret what deserves not to be forgotten. If that resonates—join in.

Some of what I share In this channel "Interpreting Tradition", are reflections on Literature, Politics, History, Philosophy. Sometimes I read old texts out loud, and sometimes I just speak into the camera. But behind every video is the same impulse: to preserve something. To interpret what’s been handed down — carefully, honestly, and with a sense of reverence.
Though this might not be a Channel for everyone, it might be for you:
If you value patience over spectacle.
If you’re drawn to old books, deep questions, or moral clarity.
If you suspect that wisdom didn’t start in the last decade.
If part of you feels modern, but another part still kneels before mystery.
This Channel is for:
a. Those who find something grounding in ancient voices
b.Those who believe we can learn from Old Things & Old Ways.
c. Those who don't quite fit in the modern world - not because they’re rebellious but because they’re Attentive - feeling out of place in a culture that moves too fast, talks too loud, and forgets too easily.
d. If this sounds familiar, then you might understand why this channel exists.
If that resonates, consider subscribing. NOT because you like the Video, but because you agree with the vision. There’s no pressure. This is just a way to stay connected — to ideas that matter, and to a rhythm that’s slower, but more alive. Subscribe for more timeless readings and reflections. Thanks for being here.
