Does a Sportsbike fit in a VW Caddy? Is it good for Trackdays?

This is a question that gets asked on the forums and FB groups a lot, will a sports bike fit in a caddy?

Having owned both a Caddy and a Maxi I can confirm that mine goes straight into my Maxi, no problem. Clearance is a liggle eight at the top door latch so measure your boke before you push it up the ramp.

Bikes won't go in a regular Caddy.... without some help - you need to take the front seat out and make a plinth for the front wheel to stand on, then you need tie down hooks in the front and something to chock the front wheel to, and then you still can't see out of your passenger window or take anyone with you.

If you re planning on doing trackways buy a Maxi - it'll go straight in the back, the factory tie downs are in the perfect place too.

I'd add that the van will fit two bikes, but you would struggle getting them in and out as there wouldn't be room at the side. Maybe with one person at the front and on eat the back it could be done, but it wouldn't be easy.
