US threatens to cut off transit system funds over NYC subway safety

The U.S. Transportation Department said on Tuesday (August 19) it may withhold up to 25% of federal transit funding for New York state's Metropolitan Transportation Authority if the agency does not improve safety for subway track maintenance workers. Ryan Brooks reports.
