Paramount SERIOUS About Saving Star Trek Amid Massive Studio Overhaul

Paramount has decided to overhaul their entire studio now that the SkyDance merger has completed. Signing the Duffer Brothers away from Netflix is a big get with a high potential ceiling, but bringing back Michael Bay to the Transformer franchise is a bigger deal if it happens.

All of those new hires and acquisitions will pale in comparison to if they can successfully revive a floundering franchise under their stewardship already, but according to the new bosses, bringing Star Trek back to prominence is a point of emphasis and top priority. Unfortunately, they think JJ Abrams is the man for the job...
