Week 30 Tutorial: Five Restoration Promises for Israel (Ezekiel 25–48)

Week 30 Readings of our 2025 Chronological Bible-in-a-Year Reading Challenge take us through the second half of the Book of Ezekiel, beginning at the time Babylon began its devastating Siege on Jerusalem, and finishing up some 15yrs later where the prophet receives a glorious vision of a promised future temple for the people of God.

In this tutorial, Chad Mansbridge draws our attention to two major aspects of this week’s readings: condemnation for neighbouring nations, making the point that no matter how rebellious Israel may have become, they were still beneficiaries of the Abrahamic Covenant where God promised to ‘curse those who curse you’; and restoration for God’s covenant nation.

5. A Rebuilding, of a Glorious Covenant Temple
