EPIC ELIMINATIONS! Fortnite Battle Royale: Shock ‘N Awesome! Chapter 6 Season 4 Gameplay

I create videos when inspiration strikes. A lot of you watch my channel and have subscribed because of the RUSH videos. The Loudboy Experience is about the things that I love to watch, listen to, and play.

I've been in pre-production for a huge vintage Star Wars series for a couple of weeks. This project is massive and has kept me busy every day. The series is coming, please stick around, I hope it's going to be as cool as I've imagined.

In my downtime, I learned that my gaming laptop can capture video while I relax and play Fortnite. This built-in NVIDIA feature works really well, and it tickled that part of my brain that asked, "Can I capture game footage and edit the native video files with DaVinci Resolve on the same laptop?" Before I knew it, I had ten source videos and a desire to learn more about Resolve. I asked myself, "Can I edit everything on my laptop this time?" I challenged myself to NOT use Avid and escape my comfort zone.

Being an Avid Editor for over 30 Years, I'm editing these Fortnite videos with DaVinci Resolve. The Avid video files I use during editing are massive, so I'm saving precious hard drive space. This is the first full-length video I've created with DaVinci Resolve. It's been a learning experience.

The biggest hurdle was simple editing. I'm used to my custom Avid keyboard, on which I can edit at lightning speed. After I customized the keyboard in Resolve, editing became a lot easier.

So far, so good. I miss my Avid, and I plan to jump back on my Media Composer soon. I'm working on a big Star Wars series. Stay tuned to The Loudboy Experience.
