China’s Wang Yi visits India to meet Modi, aiming to ease border tensions and strengthen ties

China's foreign minister is in India for his first visit there in three years.
He’s expected to meet the Prime Minister and other senior officials.
Relations between the two countries have been steadily improving since a violent skirmish along their border in 2020. Part of the thaw is due to US President Donald Trump's trade policies.
