"Welcome to the Shuv Show. I’m your host, Christene Jackman.
Tonight’s topic is how false teachers get away with preaching lies.
The Aftermath of Andy Stanley’s Absurdity
A glass of fresh water with a teaspoon of rat poison: would you drink it?
Case in Point: Andy Stanley and his “Aftermath” sermon. Let’s look at just two things he tosses out as truth, but in reality, are way off the mark.
But firstly: Why do you think false teachers like Andy Stanley are able to dupe so many people? Hundreds of people were sitting in the pews of that auditorium that day drinking in his sewage.
Why did most attendees not spot the lies? Why?
• Because they do not read the entire Bible.
• They do not study the entire Bible.
• They believe they can cherry-pick which commandments they will obey.
• They believe they can yank a verse out of context and use allegory to make it say anything they want.
• Worst of all, they are ignorant of how Biblical Near Eastern Covenant functions.
Because their starting point when reading the Bible is through the lens of an inaccurate premise regarding how blood covenants function, i.e., believing that blood covenants can be made obsolete—it is inevitable that many misinterpretations multiply. If your beginning belief is in error, it is virtually impossible to arrive at correct interpretations. What a mess!
The subject of “blood covenant” is rarely deeply explored and the Adversary seeks to keep it that way, because he knows. He knows. The Enemy of our souls wants us to be in defilement and rebellion against the Most High.
Messiah Yeshua Himself prophesied: “But when the Son of Man comes, will He find the Faith on the earth.” Luke 18:8b
Okay. Let’s look at the first erroneous declaration by Andy Stanley:
Error #1: Andy Stanley claimed in that sermon that people didn’t have the Bible in the 1st Century. “There was no Bible to read.” . . . "
