**DISCLAIMER: THIS STORY MAY NOT BE TRUE.**
(But if it is, nobody can prove anything. Especially not in Florida.)

So there we were — ripping across the wild, lawless waters of Seminole Lake on a Kawasaki Ultra 310, the most ridiculous jetski ever unleashed upon the unsuspecting public. If you've never been slapped across the face by 310 horsepower packed into a neon green aquatic rocket, you haven't truly lived (or tasted lake water at 70 mph).

Now, you might think a normal day on the lake would involve mild sunburns, maybe a few juice boxes hidden poorly under the seat, and the occasional “accidental” splash war.
NOT TODAY.

Because out of the blue — and I mean literal blue — a floatplane shows up, buzzing the treetops like it’s trying to outrun the FAA or audition for *Top Gun: Marsh Edition*. No radio call. No warning. Just a giant aluminum bird doing donuts in the sky like it owes someone money.

Naturally, the only responsible thing to do was to chase it.

Fueled by a half-eaten gas station burrito and a questionable sense of invincibility, we dropped the hammer on the Ultra 310 and went after that plane like a caffeinated Labrador chasing a UPS truck. The lake turned into a scene out of *Mad Max: Aquatic Fury*. Rooster tails everywhere. Goosebumps. Terrified fishermen shaking their fists in our general direction. Pure poetry.

The floatplane, realizing it had somehow picked a fight with Florida's fastest (and possibly dumbest) jetskier, did a few loops, dipped a wing, and then tried to land. Key word: "tried." Because what followed was less of a smooth touchdown and more of a heroic belly flop into the drink. 10/10 splash. Would chase again.

Meanwhile, we were still at WOT (wide open throttle for you landlubbers), carving around like we were auditioning for some low-budget *Fast and Furious: Lake Life* reboot nobody asked for.

In the end, nobody got arrested (we think), nobody drowned (impressively), and the floatplane pilot even gave us a thumbs-up... or maybe it was another finger. Hard to tell at 80 mph.
