Blood & Stone Intro Part 2.2: From Tribe of Dan & Danaoi to Atlantis and the Thule society

This video traces that forgotten chapter. Holland identified the Dan phoneme—Danaoi, Denyen, Danuna, Danu, Don, Danube—not as coincidence, but as the tribal “brand” of a mobile priestly-military elite. Their alliances weren’t random: the Meshwesh of Libya, the Lukka of Anatolia, and the Phoenicians acted as coordinated flanks in a two-front naval strategy. Cadmus, long remembered as a Phoenician prince, emerges here as a hybrid—part Semitic scribe, part northern seafarer.

The trail extends deeper. Horned helmets in Danish bogs mirror those on Egyptian reliefs. Judges calls the Tribe of Dan “abiders in ships.” Irish myth remembers the Tuatha Dé Danann as sea-arrivals with advanced knowledge. The Hurrians, acting as a cultural switchboard, transferred Indo-European sky gods into Semitic pantheons—Teshub becoming Baal, Zeus, Thor. Their princesses married into Egypt’s 18th Dynasty, carrying the Aten cult that reshaped religion at Amarna. Alongside them, the Luwians formed the maritime half of the matrix: Troy, Crete, Lycia, and even Canaan were tied into this network.

By the Iron Age, the same confederation resurfaces as Cimmerians and Scythians—descendants of the Yamnaya and Sintashta horse lords, deploying in waves to encircle Assyria. Their “family reunion” in Phrygia created an operational HQ bound together by the cult of Cybele, with Ashkenaz and Scytha remembered as brothers in biblical and Germanic traditions. Medieval chronicles even name Danus as the father of Denmark—one more echo of the Dan brand.

From here the story turns darker. Tartessos in Spain—the Atlantic hub—vanishes around 500 BCE, its elites redeployed into Europe. Myths of lost lands—Atlantis, Hyperborea, Tuatha Dé Danann—are fragments of displaced elites rewriting themselves into gods. In the 19th century, Helena Blavatsky recast this memory as Theosophy: root races, hidden masters, the Great White Brotherhood. Her esoteric reinterpretation laid the groundwork for the Thule Society and, through them, Nazi racial mysticism. In the 20th century, pseudo-historians like Fomenko and Levashov revived the same playbook with “Tartaria,” flooding the internet with mud floods and lost empires.
