We’ve finally made it to Lake Itasca, the official headwaters of the Mississippi River! 🌊 This is where the journey begins and where we touched and even swam in the river for the very first time.

Unfortunately, due to destructive microburst storms in the area, we can’t launch from the headwaters. Instead, our adventure will officially begin in Bemidji, Minnesota. But before that… we’re revealing something special: The Paddle of Fate. 🎉
